The baby slumbers quietly,
cradled by the mirrored blue ,
its breath rising with every ripple

Nourished by shadows,
it sleeps in the embrace of moss-green shade,
gathering its strength in the mud

Nights pass and winds gather,
yet the baby snores,
clinging stubbornly to Mother Earth

With a ray of golden sunlight,
long-awaited kiss of dawn,
petal by petal it breaks free - 

A soft triumph,
a tender breakthrough,
fresh, pure and true

Birds awaken, insects sing,
the world glows,
in the wake of pink
